Maunditts House is situated 2 miles from the historic town of Malmesbury on the B4042 in the direction of Wootton Bassett and Swindon. We are only a few miles from either J16 or J17 of the M4.
We are ideally situated for easy access to Malmesbury, Tetbury, Chippenham, Swindon, Cirencester and the Cotswolds.
Our location is very convenient for events at Winkworth Farm, Badminton House, Castle Combe Race Circuit, Kemble Airfield, Gatcombe Park, Cheltenham, Cotswold Water Park, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Womad Festival. We are 10 minutes from the M4 and therefore Bath, Bristol and Swindon are within easy driving distance.

Directions

From junction 17 of the M4 take the A429 towards Malmesbury. As you come to Malmesbury take the right hand turn at a roundabout onto the B4042 towards Brinkwoth, Wootton Bassett and The Somerfords. After 2 miles Maunditts House is situated on the right hand side - the second of a pair of detached houses. (If you accidentally drive past us, there is a large layby on the left hand side where you can turn around very easily).

It is also possible to exit the M4 at West Swindon (junction 16) and follow the B4042 past Wootton Bassett and through Brinkworth. Go past the signposts on the left for Little Somerford and Maunditts House is situated just beyond Hill House Nursing Home, both also on the left.

If you are coming from Cirencester or the north, go over two roundabouts on the outskirts of Malmesbury before coming to the one with the turn off to the left onto the B4042 and then follow the directions as above.
