Our Facilities....
Our Rooms.....
All our rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and we supply a variety of beverages and biscuits free of charge. Two rooms have self catering facilities - please see individual room information for full details.
Unless you are self-catering, rooms are serviced daily with towels and linen being replaced as required. Full size toiletries are supplied. There are hairdryers and radio alarm clocks in all the rooms and we can supply an ironing board & iron should you need one. Guests are welcome to use our laundry facilities for a nominal charge of £3 per load.
All our rooms have wall mounted flatscreen digital televisions with dvd players. We have a small library of films and CDs for you to borrow or please feel free to bring your own films or music.
Meals...
All our meals are served in our sunny dining room which overlooks the garden and the swimming pool. In warm weather you can choose to take your meals outdoors.
Full English or Continental Breakfast is included in the room price unless you are self-catering. We only use quality produce and freshly brewed coffee!
Packed lunches are available by arrangement and we can fill your flasks or lend you ours.
Parking....
We have sufficient parking for all our guests provided everyone parks considerately. We assume that each room will only have one car, should you be bringing more than one car per room please inform us in advance so that we can be sure there is space available.
Pets....
Whilst we love dogs, we regret that we cannot allow pets in the bedrooms or in the house. If your dog is happy to sleep in your car then you are welcome to exercise it in our garden provided you clear up any mess. The house backs onto open farmland and the fields lead down to the river so there are numerous beautiful walks on our doorstep.
Cycling and Walking....
If you bring bicycles with you we can store them in our locked garage but are unable to take any responsibility for them and you leave them at your own risk. As keen walkers and cyclists ourselves, we are happy to advise you on a variety of routes in the area and we are ideally located for easy access to the Cotswolds, the Marlborough Downs and the Stroud Valley.There are many wonderful walks through the Wiltshire countryside direct from our doorstep. Guests are welcome to use our utility room to dry outdoor kit and clean boots etc. There is an outside tap for washing down your bike. If you contact us in advance, we can plan a cycling/walking itinerary to suit your abilities.
Smoking....
Maunditts House is strictly non-smoking. Should you wish to smoke you may do so in the garden but we ask politely that you do not leave any debris. Thank you for your cooperation.
